Energy and Greenhouse Gas Management
Purhui plans to replace conventional electricity with photovoltaic power for plant operations and public lighting before 2030, reducing the environmental impact of electricity usage and promoting environmental sustainability.
1. Energy Consumption
Purhui's energy consumption includes purchased electricity, diesel, and gasoline. In 2024, after converting energy usage to thermal units, the total consumption amounted to 4,567.61 GJ, with an intensity of 0.051251 GJ/NT$1,000 revenue.

According to GRI Standard 302: Energy 2016 and SASB industry definitions for "Total energy consumed," the company should disclose the total energy consumed within the organization, including but not limited to purchased or self-generated electricity, heating, cooling, and steam. Reporting in gigajoules (GJ) is recommended.
2. Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Assurance
The greenhouse gas emission data in this report were verified according to ISO 14064-1:2018. The operational boundary includes Scope 1 (Category 1), Scope 2 (Category 2), and Scope 3 (Category 4). For organizational boundaries and assurance scope, please refer to the table "Organizational Boundary Description."
