Human Rights Management
Human Rights Policy
Our company is committed to safeguarding the fundamental human rights of all employees, customers, and stakeholders. We recognize and support the spirit and fundamental principles of human rights protection set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, and the International Labour Conventions. To implement these declarations and fulfill our corporate social responsibility, we have established a Human Rights Policy to ensure that both internal and external stakeholders are treated fairly and with dignity. This policy is approved by the Chairman and published on the company website. In addition, we regularly review our operations, value chain, and other relevant activities each year by monitoring major social issues and conducting surveys. Through this process, we identify and assess at-risk groups and potential human rights risks, formulate control plans for human rights issues based on the identified risks, and continuously monitor and improve the implementation outcomes. |
Employee Conduct and Code of Ethics
Our company has established a "Code of Ethical Conduct" and included in our work rules and corporate ethics statement that employees must not use their position for personal gain, engage in fraud, or accept gifts from others. They must also refrain from disclosing any company technology or business information. Relevant control measures have been established, including internal control systems, regular and irregular audits conducted by the Audit Committee and Internal Control Committee. For suppliers, contracts stipulate that they must not bribe or provide improper benefits to our employees. In cases of corruption that are verified, administrative and personal disciplinary actions will be taken, and legal liability will be pursued to prevent corruption or leakage of confidential information.
No incidents of employee corruption occurred in 2024.
Anti-Discrimination Measures
Our company has established the "Measures for Prevention, Complaint, and Discipline of Workplace Sexual Harassment," which are published on the internal website. Any form of sexual harassment in the workplace is strictly prohibited to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. New employees receive orientation and an employee handbook (which includes the policy) upon reporting for duty. We also use the internal website to promote the complaint mechanism to ensure that incidents of discrimination do not occur.
Our company supports and follows international human rights conventions. In 2024, there were no cases of discrimination, violation of freedom of association, child labor, infringement of indigenous peoples' rights, or forced labor. We are committed to complying with and safeguarding the rights of all workers.
Specific Management Plans
To raise awareness of human rights protection and reduce the likelihood of related risks, our company continues to organize human rights-related education and training. In 2024, training included courses on occupational safety and health, health and wellness knowledge, workplace violence prevention awareness, sexual harassment and workplace bullying prevention, ethics compliance, and human rights protection.
