Environmental Sustainability

Energy Saving & Sustainability

We comply with environmental regulations and align with international sustainability trends, implementing energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures while planning strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
To raise employees’ environmental awareness, we use publicity and education to encourage our employees and clients to practice sustainable actions, including reusing office paper, reducing administrative printing, and conserving energy resources, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Energy Conservation

Electricity Saving

GRI 302

1. Lighting: All production area lighting and over half of office lighting use LED or sensor-controlled lights.

2. Computer Equipment: Computers are set to power-saving mode; employees are encouraged to turn off computers during lunch breaks and after work, where safety is not affected.

3. Machinery: High-pressure air pipes in machinery are regularly checked for loose screws or air leaks to avoid unnecessary power consumption.

4. Air Conditioning: Office air-conditioning temperature is set no lower than 26°C.

5. Other Shared Equipment: Ventilation and office machines in the production department are equipped with timers or manually adjusted to turn off after work hours to reduce standby power waste.

Water Saving

GRI 303

1. Water-Saving Equipment: The old water tower in the plant has been replaced with an air-cooled tower to save water.

2. Implement Water-Saving Measures: Regularly record water usage and inspect water meters at night to check for abnormal leaks.

Fuel Saving

GRI 302-1, GRI 302-4

1. Vehicle Maintenance: Company vehicles are inspected and maintained annually, with tire pressure kept at optimal levels.

2. Vehicle Usage: Promote public transport and taxi carpooling when necessary to reduce vehicle trips (schedule business trips in advance to consolidate tasks along the same route).

3. Monitoring: Record mileage of company vehicles.

4. Video Conferencing: Install video conferencing equipment and encourage its use to reduce energy consumption.

Paper Saving

GRI 301, 306

1. Eco-Friendly Paper: Office paper prioritizes PEFC-certified products.

2. Paper Reuse: Default double-sided printing on copiers; create collection areas for blank paper for reuse, or adopt other paper utilization measures.

3. Reduce Paper in Office: Replace printed tasks with digital processes to lower paper consumption.

4. Monitoring: Record paper usage and printing frequency, review annually to adjust control measures.

Waste Reduction at Source

Classification & Recycling GRI 306

1. Implement waste classification and resource recycling in office areas.

2. Reuse office supplies such as folders, paper bags, clips, and binders through proper sorting and recycling.

Plastic & Waste Reduction GRI 306

1. Promote use of personal utensils in the cafeteria instead of disposable ones.

2. Encourage employees to avoid disposable plastic bags and adopt reusable shopping bags.

Environmental Management & Chemical Risk Control

1. Regularly clean office areas, with large-scale cleaning conducted annually. GRI 403-6

2. Strengthen office supplies safety by reducing the use of products containing certain chemical components. GRI 403-7

Green Procurement

1. At least five office supplies purchased annually are green products. GRI 301

Promotion & Advocacy
GRI 2-29: Encourage employee voluntary participation in environmental and sustainable practices, “Enhancing Environmental Literacy & Culture”

1. Promote green living messages to employees, who voluntarily spend time annually participating in environmental knowledge training, workshops, or talks, or use green living materials in company social media and resources to advocate sustainable practices.

2. Post green office-related reminders in office areas, such as near switches to turn off power when not in use.

3. Promote efficient vehicle use among employees: avoid hard acceleration and frequent braking, reduce idling, maintain proper cabin temperature without setting too low, and minimize unnecessary loads.
